I just finished installing the this light and if I have one thing to say about it, it's that the instructions are the most inadequate, terrible instructions ever. Buying a $500 light one would expect to have some comprehensive instructions on how to install it. My only saving grace? I have a bachelor's and graduate degree in engineering. I saw what needed to be done and did it even though I didn't have any validation what-so-ever from the instructions that I was taking the correct steps.
What sort of things were left out? Well, the wires have to be threaded up through the rods, and the cover plate that goes against the ceiling has to be threaded through as well, BEFORE you connect the wires to the ceiling. The 10' of extra wire needs to be cut off before making connections. The wires need to be threaded through the ball joint and the connections actually need to be made BEFORE attaching the bracket to the electrical box, otherwise the connectors and excess wire will be below the bracket, obstructing movement of the ball joint and probably preventing the cover plate from attaching. None of this is remotely mentioned or pictured in the page of worthless instructions, even though these are all crucial steps. The instructions pretty much consist of, "connect the black wire to the black wire and white wire to the white wire". Gee, thanks, Kichler. If I didn't even know that, why would I be attempting to install the light myself, and how would I possibly figure out the rest of the stuff that you left out of the process? So irked by this.

Other than that, this is a beautiful light and I am so happy to have replaced the mid-90s brass and glass fixture that was there before. It produces beautiful light. As long as you are mechanically inclined, or are going to hire someone who is mechanically inclined to install this, you'll be fine. If you're not the best at handyman-type stuff, this is not the light I'd try installing myself.

Moen S71708Csl Ascent One-Handle High Arc Pull Down Kitchen Faucet, Classic Stainless Review

Love, love, love Moen. They make a quality product and as we spruce up parts of our house, we've been replacing all of our faucets with Moen.

This particular faucet is beautiful. Very shiny, with a pretty handle, high arch (as is currently in vogue), and (yay) built-in sprayer. It arrived in the mail today, and I was so excited that I prodded my husband into action --even though he's officially on vacation.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
--We installed this faucet on our three hole stainless steel double sink. The S71708 looks fine with stainless, although there is a contrast in the degree of shininess.

--Our old faucet was also a single handle. It had a plate which covered the other two holes. (There is one on either side of the central hole that the faucet rests in.) The S71708 does not have such a plate. This means that either you have to buy the little metal buttons-caps to cover the holes, or get a new sink, if yours is like ours :(

The Moen site suggests filling one hole with a soap dispenser: Moen 3942Csl Soap/Lotion Dispensers, Classic Stainless. A rather pricey option, but one we are definitely considering.

--Installing likely won't be as long for you as us as our old faucet was rusted in place. However, we would advise you to ignore the written instructions and study the pictures instead. The latter made it very clear what you needed to do; while the former were unclear and confusing.

Frustratingly, the instructions show a plate to cover the holes as 'optional'. The plate is not available at either the Moen website or Amazon.

--The pull down sprayer retracts most of the time without needing any help. However, it sometimes needs a tap to get it into place. We are going to add an additional weight underneath the sink which should fix this.

--The pull down sprayer does not appear to be metal. And, in fact, none of the upper pieces 'attract' a magnet

--The rise in the faucet neck is wonderful. With my old-style faucet I had a heck of a time filling any large cooking pots --like for spaghetti-- but not a problem now.

--The arch in the faucet is almost too large. It stretches past the half-way point in the sink and I'm thinking that it's more appropriate for a sink where the counter has the hole. The neck of the faucet is also very large in circumference.

--The Moen S71708 is low-lead compliant.

--The Moen S71708 is NOT made in the USA.

WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER
I would carefully consider the dimension of this faucet. It has a very broad arch and might be best for applications where the hole has been drilled in the counter top, or for broad farm-style sinks. In this case of installing it in a counter top hole you should note that the S71708 requires a 1" space from the backsplash to the faucet.

You should also consider the shiny finish. It might clash with some decors, and it might show prints/spots.

Finally, for sinks like mine, it will not cover the other holes. I'm going to get a soap dispenser, which got good reviews, and a button-cap.

SUMMARY OF MY THOUGHTS
As I stated at the beginning of my review, I am a fan of Moen products. I like this product and was VERY, VERY happy to receive it, but I probably would have purchased one of the sister-faucets. One in a brushed finished, and which was more than just 'low lead' compliant. As far as I can discern the water doesn't touch anything other than plastic, and it's my guess that the lead is part of the chrome finish. I'll be calling Moen to see if I can get some answers, and I'll be posting them when I do.

EAGO WD333 Square Modern White Ceramic Wall Mounted Toilet Review

We have not installed it yet (as we are in the process of building the house) but we have dry fitted it with the in wall tank (I had alrady bought a Grohe tank for this toilet and crossed my fingers that the EAGO would work with it) it fits perfectly. It is beautifully modern and definitely a conversation piece. My plumber is actually excited about installing this as he has never installed this type of system. The packaging was first rate - the box as foamed into a bigger box - and arrived in 2 days. I felt sorry for my UPS delivery guy because it was heavy!
Now, we have to figure out how to make sure little visitors understand this is a toilet, not a wash basin!

We are using this faucet for about a month now and it is just plain AWSOME.
I was very excited to see the commercial a long while ago and I knew this was IT when the time will come to replace out faucte, and once it broke I did not think twice. I shopped around and
found it at really great price.

It is just brilliant technology. Any Parent will appreciate the faucet like this, I just wish I had it many years ago, it is brilliant for anyone but for parents it is tripple brilliant.

* It saves so much time.. You don't have to adjust the water every time your child comes to
open the faucet and as of course children don't have the precission to find the right temperature with normall faucts.. so now once you set it to the right position it is so easy.. kids just come and touch and go.. and then turn off by touch again.. so fast, and it is so much fun the hand washing is happening so much more often just for shear pleasure

* It saves frustration, when a little child is too small to reach to the handle to open the water
this faucet is a sanity saver for a parent and a child, no more frustration.. as child has no need to reach out to touch the handle.

* It is so easy to set up the right temperature and flow, super easy. I was wondering if it is going to be tricky but it is just super easy. Then again.. once set you have an easy idea where it should be visually to have the safe temperature for a child for instance.. as provided your
water in your tank is at stable temperature so the handle set to certain position can't get hottern then whatever it is set to..

* I think it is perfect faucet for people with all kinds of dissabilities..

Now word of caution: I almost fell in my own trap, I was so prepared that this faucet will have some faults that one day I just come to the kitchen .. touch it and it is not working.. oh o..
I though of course it is not working! it was too good to be true..

and guess what.. ha ha ha.. I forgot to open the water and leave it like that.. then you just tap on the faucet to close it. Next time you come you tap and it runs. because.. of course if you
do what I did.. if you close the water completly manually by the handle then next time you come
and touch.. you just hear a click.. and nothing.. becuase there isn othing to flow ..

so just remember it is not broken.. it is just that you need to know to touch it on and off but leave the water handle set to running water first.

Lastly.. batteries.. I was worrying that it will be some mambo jumbo big time complicated thing..
not so much.. in reality you just have a simple craddle with few batteries AAA and all you do is
just swap them.. pretty much level of diffculty.. oh easier then flash light changing batteries.
super easy.

I highly recommend this faucet. I would probably not recommend this to people with Alzheimer possibly because the open close situation with handle would be .. might be tricky to master
comsidering that they have to touch on and off the faucet that was set on water to run first..
This might create some confusino to such a person I gather however I don't know... I just think so. Besides.. I think that for such a person it would be great device if one coudl dissable the function of handle and leave the faucet just as on off operation but then again you would need to predecide on the temperature and strenght of the flow.
