This is a worthless piece of Chinese junk!!! The duplicator set up has so much play in it that it is impossible to accurately copy anything within an 1/8" tolerance. The cutter is ground wrong for cutting wood, just tears the work up. The instructions are worthless as well, sparse on useful information to solve any problems. Save your money and buy a really good duplicator if you really need one

The only thing I wished it had was a dimmer function for the main lamp( I knew that it didn't going in since it didn't mention it in it's online description). It was well packed and there was no damage from shipping. Relatively easy to assembly if you take your time and lay everything out first. Directions were clear and easy to follow.

Bosch DG490CE 120-Volt Die Grinder Variable Speed Review

I took the chance and ordered this new Bosch DG490CE die grinder over the variable speed Makita GD0800C die grinder.

My primary use of the tool is as a sculptor working in hard stone such as granite or amphibolite.

I find this die grinder to be:

1) Good size (I can operate with one hand at the lower speeds especially in the crook of my arm)
2) Not too heavy for extended use
3) Surprisingly quiet on the slower speeds
4) Super smooth take off
5) Easy to use controls even with gloves on
6) Offset spindle has great ergonomics
7) Super supple reasonably long cord
8) Semi-soft very comfortable handle on the shaft
9) Ability to run dry diamond abrasive discs within manufacturer's recommended speeds!

Speaking of gloves in the summer you will be fine, in the winter you will need good wind proof pair because this tool blows a lot of air over your hands.

I am super satisfied with this tool out of the box, while I wish it had the Milwaukee tool guarantee, it feels like a solid well built tool. A case would have been nice. I have not hand compared this tool to the Makita, for me the ability to run at slower speeds sealed the deal. If anyone knows of a good flexible shaft that would be compatible with this beast let us know?

Makita AN611 1-1/4-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch Coil Siding Nailer Review

I needed a siding nailer for Hardiplank siding. After reading a few reviews I opted to try the Makita AN611. This nailer is absolutely the best engineered nailer I have come across. I own several Porter Cable, Bostitch, Dewalt and Bosch pneumatic nailers and staplers and each have their plus and minuses. The Makita has NO minuses I can find.

Canister loading is a snap, and the hinged head eliminated any need for disassembly of the head should it jamb (shouldn't be a problem for this tool).

Depth setting are plentifully (9 settings) and easily accessible.

Very convenient selector provides sequential or bounce fire. No changing of triggers or mechanical adjustments.

Exhaust adjustable 360 deg.

Rubber guard on housing to protect tool and eliminate scratching of surfaces.

Relatively light considering the quality.

Nice rubber grip and well balanced.

I have often wrestled with tools and surmise that the engineers that designed the tool never actually had to use it.

The folks at Makita have got this one right!

This fireplace was packaged very carefully, with no damage. I was originally a little concerned about the price, but it appeared to be very nice on the internet. When we received it......it was MUCH NICER than expected. The flames are VERY realistic & it easily heats our small living room & dining room. And, an additional nice feature is the blower is VERY quiet.

You pay a little more for a Dimplex, but you really get what you pay for.

Moen 7735CSL Brantford One-Handle High Arc Kitchen Faucet, Classic Stainless Review

This faucet replaces a Kohler Fairfax faucet that I had for 11 years. The Moen Brantford has a couple advantages. The arc is higher so it is easier to work on pots etc. The faucet uses a cartridge to control water flow so there are no black rubber O rings inside the body like the Kohler Fairfax - the O rings had to be replaced every few months which required taking the faucet apart. My hope is that I don't have that issue with the new Moen Brantford. The new faucet was installed by a plumber but did not appear to be a difficult job and it went smoothly and easily. This faucet has a much larger bracket that tightens the faucet to the sink body. This faucet was a bit expensive but it was much cheaper at Amazon than at my local Home Depot or Lowe's or Ferguson's and it arrived in two days which was about 4-5 days faster than any of my local plumbing outlets could provide it. All in all, excellent buy. I just hope it last a long time without too much maintenance. We will have to wait and see on that.
