35 years experience designing and installing radiant floor heating and cooling systems.I am commenting on the negative review on the Polaris Heater. You have a home, I think in Montana, that has a given heat load. The Polaris is only trying to heat your home to the thermostat setting you choose. If you didn't insulate under the slab or around the slab-edge, don't blame the Polaris for trying to overcome the shotty construction or design. The heat load (heat loss) is a set value, depending on the indoor temp required and outside design temp. The more efficient water heater you use the better. You can't get much more efficient than a 95+% Polaris heater. If you think the Polaris is the problem then I suggest you buy a conventional water heater, install that and hold on to your wallet. You are totally unfamilar with heat load requirements and efficiencies. The Polaris is not going to heat water unless you are dumping the heat somewhere. You or the guy that designed your house/system is the fault. Do you leave the doors open during the winter months or what?
