This bench was ordered for our printing department. The bench is great. It is the right height and length.. super sturdy... When we opened the package the smell of the rubber mats, which smelled like fire, over took our office. The Office Manger came up and asked if were burning something as our neighbors reported the smell of fire to the building.. We removed put the mats outside for the better part of the day and brought them back in to the office and placed them on top of the wooden bench as we did not want to mark up the bench. Office still smelled and more importantly our clients complained about the smell and asked if any of the paper was exposed to fire... I took the mats home to wash them with car wash soap and scrub brush over 2 weeks ago and the smell still did not come out.. So I eventually tossed them in the garbage. My office still has has a lingering smell as does my trunk.. I am going to contact the company and I will post and feedback from them..
