The compact M620V Scout Light® produces 150 lumens of brilliant white light or 120 milliwatts of invisible infrared output for use with night vision devices-with no need for IR filters or spare lamps. Simply twist the self-locking selector ring on the dual-spectrum V-series head to switch between output modes. In either mode, the M620V's TIR lens produces a tight beam suited for short- to medium-range applications. The high-efficiency LEDs are virtually immune to failure since there's no filament to burn out or break. And it comes with a momentary/constant-on pushbutton tailcap switch and a momentary-on pressure-activated tape switch with a 7" cable that can be positioned where you choose. Also available are optional dual SR pushbutton/pressure pad switches. The M620V clamps solidly to any long gun equipped with a Picatinny rail via its integral M93 throw-lever rail clamp, which self-adjusts to off-spec rails and features a lever lock to prevent loosening from vibration or recoil. Constructed of high-strength aerospace aluminum with Mil-Spec hard anodizing for superior toughness and corrosion resistance, and optically coated tempered glass for durability and maximum light transmission, the M620V is O-ring sealed to keep out dust, dirt, and moisture. High end Surefire light for use on weapons or anything with rails. No need for separate filters or infra red lights. This has a quick dial bezel that lets you go from blindingly bright white LED to very bright infra red with a twist of the bezel. Secure detents keep the bezel from rotating when you don't want it to. The rail mount will compensate for rails that are not perfect tolerance or have been damaged. Constant on and pressure pad switches included. Machines from durable aluminum and anodized. This is the best money can buy right here. Perfect for high end M-4/M-16 style firearms, or that MP5 you have in the closet. If you have the money and are a gear snob, this is the light to get! Tan matches other tan Surefire products, Magpul, as well as other manufacturer's tan colors. Can take the recoil of heavy recoiling rifles as well as 9mm subguns. I have yet to damage, break or mangle this model of light.

Batteries last a long time with the LED's. White light is very white and not the bluish tinge as many lights are. IR light is uniform and bright for the size. Very precise wavelength of IR light as well. This will not look very red or pink when it is on. Efficient production of IR light is taking place.

This works well on bomb disposal robots and hazardous environments too. Can get wet and take blast without failing. Unlike some lesser models of Surefire, I have not broken the bezel dropping this on concrete either. Get these now before it becomes illegal to have IR lights.
