Amazon's brief description of this lamp is correct. Lamps Plus is not. As I found it, this lamp had a dimmer feature at one time. It no longer does. I called Lamps Plus customer service and was given the "apology" speech and told me they were in the process of updating their website specs. I was offered a dimmer switch at a discounted price. I ended up getting it for free.
Now about this lamp. It is very heavy and nice and classy to look at. The quality of the mission style lamp shows as I proudly display it in my home. The lowest lamp height measures 45.5 inches from the base to base of lamp glass. Uses four 60 watt bulbs (not included) which are too bright at times. A dimmer is a must for me. Paid $199.00 during the January sale. I would have given 5 stars if it came with a dimmer feature.

SentrySafe Fire-Safe 2-Drawer Insulated Vertical File, Black Review

Overall, I'm happy with this cabinet. One thing this cabinet really has going for it is the dearth of competition in this price range. For the price, it seems like a very worthy item. That said, for the price, I'd buy a scanner and go electronic before buying a second one. But I figure one is good, because having at least some physical files is inevitable.

First, this cabinet is very heavy. It took 3 people at the store to move to my car, and I could only carry it a few feet at a time when I got it home. The weight appears to be due to the 2-3" thick fire insulation on all sides. The interior material looks like standard, thin sheet metal. But probably due to the heft, it doesn't rattle or clank. In fact, the drawers roll rather nicely. I'm not sure if the tracks will hold up (I'm afraid they might bend) but it's nice so far. It lets you pull both drawers out at the same time (very nice cabinets don't). However, I've done this (probably a bad idea!) with two full drawers and it didn't tip over.

As you can imagine, that much insulation means the interior dimensions are significantly reduced. The drawer interiors are a hair under 12" wide and a tad over 18" long. It's tight - my hanging folders barely fit. If any papers stick out the folder edge, they won't even go in. And even then, the folders don't slide on the track.

Security-wise: Remember that this is not a security safe. It's mostly to keep fire out, not people. It's got a very basic lock, and works by extending a metal bar from the lower drawer into both the upper drawer and into the case side. I'd bet it'd stay closed if it was dropped a couple feet. But, really, your security comes from someone being more interested in your consumer electronics than your papers.

I can't comment on the actual fire protection. It says in the manual that the insulation expands in fire and seals all the openings, making the cabinet completely air-tight. I gather the thing is then ruined and needs to be cut open afterward. Another thing I've gathered from research - while this is a fine level of protection if live in a single family ranch home, you may want to reconsider if you live in something like a 5th floor apartment. The file is only rated for 1 hour in fire, and you have to worry about it breaking open in a fall.

If I could change things, they'd be adding just a smidge to the drawer width, and possibly adding some folding handles.

Finally, since I'm a conclusions-first kinda guy, I already said I like it. Now let's hope I never need it.

This replaced our American Standard porcelain double compartment sink (same size). Our previous sink cost 3 times as much and chipped within months and rusted along the edges (severely) within a couple of years. Although it had a lifetime guarantee, what was I gonna do... pack it up and send it back and wait for a replacement? Though it took a while to decide what material to get our next sink in, the choice to get solid surface has been great so far. Though this sink marks easily, everything scrubs right out with a little soft scrub and scrubbing pad (easily). Marks on the porcelain sink were permanent. I like the feel and quietness of this sink over stainless as well. Acrylic is a joke for something as heavily used as a kitchen sink and granite composite I didn't know much about (other than people reviewing about leakage and cracking issues).

The sink came with one hole (our preference as we were going with a contemporary faucet) and we had to drill out one more for a soap dispenser. No problems at all and there were even pilot holes on the underside so you couldn't make a mistake on the alignment.

The biggest surprise upgrade has been the change to a single compartment sink. At this size, the single compartment is HUGE, and every pot we own fits. It is much easier to clean pots and pans in this sink than the double compartment sink and large items like grill grates and full oven racks actually fit and can be completely submerged! Anything smaller washes through the dishwasher anyway, and it has always been recommended that pots and pans be washed by hand due to the caustic properties of the automatic dishwashing detergents. Now, it is a lot easier to clean our pots and pans (and other stuff). We also got a metal drying rack that fits over about a third of the sink that we can stack dishes in after being washed in the sink. The plates can simply just be sprayed off right where they sit and you're done! This system works great whenever we decide to wash anything by hand. Typically, you would wash in one and rinse in the other but that doesn't work well when items don't fit. Not missing the second compartment at all!

On a lighter note, this sink probably makes a great baby bathtub.

Makita LXDT08 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Impact Driver Kit Review

Holy cow. This is one of the best tools I have ever purchased. I used it to drill on the order of a thousand holes through 3/4 inch marine-grade plywood and 2x con-heart redwood, on just 2-3 battery charges. I might be a bit over-enthusiastic because this is my first impact drill, but it is so much better than any drill, battery or corded, that I've ever used that it just makes me grin when I pull it out and use it.

For what it's worth, I ran a construction crew for a few years back in the late 70s and early 80s, so I've been around a drill or six. While pretty much every tool has gotten better since then, this is so far above the last battery powered drill I bought, it's just crazy. My contractor buddy told me this, and he was so over the top that I just didn't think he was serious, but the first time I saw him after I used it, I just looked at him and said "impact drill" and grinned like a fool, and he said "I told you so."

As far as this drill in particular, well it seems to be pretty good. I have no basis to compare it to other impact drills. It didn't break, it goes like crazy, the batteries charge in 15 minutes or so, it's relatively light, and comfortable to use. Ask me again in a couple of years and we'll see if the batteries are still good. It would be nice if the little LED light was a bit brighter, but that's a very minor nit.

Use hearing protection, boys and girls. Seriously. Every darn time. You'll thank me later. And you'd be crazy not to wear safety glasses, but the hearing protection is a long term thing.
