The lamp is gorgeous to look at, and is made very very well; however, I wasn't a fan of the light it casted. The lamp may do well in a diffrent environment, like a library or at a desk - but I was looking for it to cast a warm light in my living room, but instead it was a "where were you on the night of...light". I think if the lamp shade was longer or rounded it would have cast a better light.
