I ordered this light fixture for a baby girl's nursery. It serves as the primary light source in a room that is approximately 100 square feet. The fixture is beautiful and the 3 60W candelabra bulbs are plenty of light for the room. The roses are quite sculptural and solid - so the light does not shine through them. However, the bulbs are placed such that the room gets almost the full impact of each bulb but the bulbs recede into the desing of the fixture and aren't very noticeable. When on the roses are backlit and appear almost shadowy. The reflection on the celing looks like leaves surrounding a bouquet - a very pretty effect. When off, the fixture looks like a sculputre of a rose bouquet - also quite pretty. I am very happy with this purchase and feel I received more than my money's worth based on the amount of light and impact of the design in the room. The fixture comes with an extra rose and a tool to replace a broken flower. The instructions are minimal - just a picture. It took my husband who rarely does such things and has few tools 2+ hours.
