Bought this stand to go with my new Makita LS1216L. Love the stand so far but assembly out of the box was a pain. I know what your thinking...if you are buying a miter saw and stand then you should be savvy enough to build a basic stand quickly. The stand came mostly assembled with only several parts to put on. Those parts had horrible small print instructions to guide you. I like following instructions to make sure this $300 purchase is built right. I'm glad I wasn't building this on a job site where time was money!! Also knobs on top of stand rails to secure actual saw were complicated to tighten down using a spring/screw type of connection. I ended up replacing it with a bolt. But I love the stand so far, It feels solid and is a smaller compact version of the industrial/commercial duty WST-01. It's also lighter. So hurry up and buy. Just be aware of what I stated during assembly.
