The thermostatic switch is adjustable and is very useful because you don't want it to run all the time. The built-in timer works well too. It states that a check valve is built-in. It is not. I found a great little 1/2 inch sweat-connected brass flapper valve at Home Depot for just a couple bucks. Be sure to use a check valve because water can flow either direction through the pump when it's not running. There isn't a mounting bracket for attaching to a wall, so it relys on the piping to support it - brace your pipes accordingly.
