Boy did I ever hem and haw over this one. I loved how it looked online but the price, geesh! Well, found a great bargain so I splurged and boy, am I ever glad! This thing is just gorgeous! Looks like it does online and even better when lit. That amber glow is just gorgeous too. Sets the mood for a very cozy home. We have this in our upstairs hallway leading to the master bedroom and it just makes a gorgeous statement. This entire series is just beautiful -we have the sconces as well that coordinate with this item and they're breathtaking. Hands down, worth the extra money. Particularly since it is a Minka Lavery - it's made better (even though it's made in China. So is Pottery Barn but they're proof too that they can make decent quality over there when the price is right), and it certainly does emit the nicest light. Great, great item, highly recommend!
