JessEm 03200 Bench Top Router Table Review

I bought one of these tables based on positive reviews on the larger table. I liked the sturdy construction and the bag system although I did wonder if the router would last being in the dust bag. The problem started when I went to mount my router onto the insert plate - A template sheet would have been helpful. But the real problem came when mounting the insert plate into the table - it was warped. I placed a straight edge on the table top too - it was also warped slightly. I could have corrected the problem if the insert had 4 screw down corners instead of two. The way it is 3 corners sit flush and the forth is raised. I can press the fourth corner down by hand but it won't stay without a screw. As a result routing is not uniform on longer pieces.

I contacted Jessem and they responded that they would forward my complaint to engineering - that was the last I heard. The solution is simple - I purchased a new blue insert with 4 screw down corners and elevated it slightly to accomodate the main table warp and it is good. However, I would be hesitant to reccommend Jessem.
