I purchased the Arbortech AS170 Saw for my husband, Albert. He is a home remodeler and licensed contractor. Albert needed to remove a 4' x 10' section of a brick wall and was not looking forward to doing so! He explained the difficulty to me...the mortar, the bricks breaking, the mess, the time using a chisel or demolitions saw, more bricks breaking, etc.! So I began researching and found the AS170 and was very impressed about the capabilities of the saw. Albert was so excited when he opened the box...acted like a kid at Christmas!
Normally, a job such as this would have take about 5 working days and Albert said he would be scratched up, have a huge mess, and end up with broken bricks which would be hard to replace. The job took 2 1/2 days, he had no broken or cracked bricks, no mess, no mortar dust on all of his clothing, and he didn't come home from the job every day exhausted....LOL.
We recommend that if you have a brick and mortar removal to tackle...buy this saw!!! You will not be disappointed by any means. Furthermore, the web site for Arbortech has videos about projects, using the saw, and changing blades, which of course made things much easier for my husband...and that's what it is all about...making him happy!!!
