After a short set-up and a few minor adjustments, I ran several test pieces consisting of spruce, fir, teak, and mahogany. I did not have any oak on hand. All samples cut cleanly and were perfectly square and flat. This machine performed better than it's small size would seem to indicate. It is quite adaquate for home and small shop projects. The only thing that would have improved the purchase, is the inclusion of push paddles in lieu of the push stick supplied.
Over all a decent machine for the size and price. Does the job!!
