8-Gun Double Door Steel Security Cabinet (Black) Review

First off... I would like to say that this Security Cabinet is way bigger than I thought it would be, and I love how the Ammo/Accessories are seperate from the Firearms. The pictures do this no justice, it is made of very durable Steel and has a heavy duty powdered epoxy coating for strength. I am extremely happy with this product, and it is perfect for the application that I needed to keep my Firearms secure and safe from idle hands.

My only real complaint was the padding(thin foam) that came with it, the adhesive was rather poor as well. I recommend buying a thicker padding to insulate the safe, and prevent 'Safe bumps/scratches'. It has a HMC high security tubular locking mechanisms with over 100 key code combinations, and includes 3 storage spaces in the left interior for organized storage and includes 2 small plastic door organizer bins to store accessories(I do not like them on the door, I use them in the left compartments for storage as it has a slight rattle upon opening which is bad when one wants to be stealthy/quiet for obvious reasons). Insulate the doors as well, I also installed a couple thin patches of liner along the doors so it doesn't clink or slam when shutting.

The Cabinet itself is 57 inches tall, and 32 Inches wide, with a depth of 10 inches. The left interior dimensions are as follows, bottom shelf is 11.5x19.5, middle shelf is 11.5x13, the top shelf is 11.5x9. The right compartment has a small half shelf along the top to fit long rifles, the measurement is 20x57. It comes with all hardware to bolt the Cabinet to a wall and/or floor, although you may want to invest in bigger stronger bolts for security reasons. The doors are attached by Full-length piano hinges, On average you can fit 8 Rifles although I have fit a max of 10. The safe weighs 108lbs! I also installed a small touch light for seeing in the dark, you may want as well. I recommend this for anyone looking for an Affordable, Tough, and Secure Cabinet, rather than those tacky stand alone cheaper safes... I hope my review helps you out in your search!
